It's his birthday today and believe it or not, November 10th will mark Sesame Street's 40th season!  The show first aired on November 10, 1969.  Through the years, Sesame Street has won eight Grammy's and over 100 Emmys.  It is the longest running children's show ever and airs in over 140 countries.

The shows producers are launching a brand new opening sequence to the show and an entirely new format. There will be tons of celebrities appearing through out the 40th season including Adam Sandler, Christina Applegate, Eva Longoria, Sarah Jessica Parker and many more.  Actress Cameron Diaz will be on the premiere episode and First Lady Michelle Obama will be making an appearance this season.
