Unlike most major music festivals who choose to release their line-ups in one massive explosion of artists, Colorado’s own Monolith Festival decide to go out things a bit differently. Opting to slowly leak its line-up, Monolith began to announce the musicians performing at the two-day music extravaganza this past Monday, May 18th on Facebook and Twitter. While the complete line-up of over fifty artists will be announced in mid-June, the viral tease of disclosing 2-3 artists per weekday until then has revealed an array of indie artists, many of whom are Colorado homegrown, such as Speakeasy, Tiger and Savoy.

This initial week of announcements revealed the following artists will be taking one of the five stages at Red Rocks in early September for Monolith:

• Monotonix
• Woodhands
• Gregory Alan Isakov
• The Dandy Warhols
• The Twilight Sad
• The Antlers
• The Pirate Signal
• Savoy
