In just a few hours Inaugural Parade Tickets go on sale. The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced today tickets will be made available to the public at 1p EST.  5,000 tickets will be made available, and sold for $25 each.
To buy tickets, go to Ticketmaster.com or 202-397-SEAT(7328), 410-547-SEAT(7328) or 703-573-SEAT(7328). These tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. Ticket seekers are allowed 4 per person.

If you do not get these tickets, parade watchers can still see the parade by standing along the parade route – these tickets simply guarantee holders a seat on the bleachers. Millions of people are expected to turn out to see President Elect Barack Obama and Vice President Elect Joe Biden travel the 1.7 miles from the Capitol to the White House in the Inaugural Parade.

"We are very pleased to make these tickets available to the public as part of our commitment to holding the most open and accessible Inauguration in history," said Presidential Inaugural Committee Executive Director Emmett S. Beliveau.  "The Inaugural Parade is a celebration of America, and we are working to make sure that as many citizens as possible can take part in this historic tradition."

Folks holding tickets must be in their seats no later than 1p on January 20th, all standing positions are first come, first serve. For more information check with the Presidential Inauguration Committee.
