In a segment aired this morning on the Fox News program Fox and Friends, DC Special Interests Examiner Ron Moore debated Barbara Comstock of the Workforce Fairness Institute. The battle over passage of the EFCA is expected to be a vigorous one with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce spending at least 10 million dollars to defeat the measure. The bill which passed Congress in 2007 but without a veto-proof majority clears obstacles to workers' right to organize by permitting them to negotiate with their employers after a simple majority approve in a card check procedure.
