Hilda Solis Obama choice as Labor Secretary

President-elect Barack Obama announced today the selection of Representative Hilda Solis (D-California) as Secretary of Labor. Solis, the daughter of union members and immigrants is considered a reliable and steadfast advocate for workers with a 97 percent AFL-CIO approval rating during her career in the House.
