Tejada Comes Clean

The Associated Press reports that Miguel Tejada has come clean about his age. Tejada states that he is actually 2 years older than he has maintained since he came to the league.

"I'm feeling free now. It's something that I had in my mind."

Baseball records indicate that Tejada is 31 years old, but he is now admitting that as a youngster coming into the MLB he was encouraged to list 17 instead of 19. Apparently, his legal government information is accurate stating 33 years old but all of his baseball listings state the younger age.
