When the team at EA Sports first launched the idea of playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour on your browser, I was sold. They then gave the opportunity to sign up to be a part of the testing program. I must say that this program is throughly impressive even though its in an early stage. The visuals on the courses (Pebble Beach and TPC Sawgrass) are amazing and especially impressive is that you can come back into the middle of your game, even if you are on a lunch break at work. Here's some of the features contained in Beta 2:

  • Career Progression-In the first mode, all the users played as Tiger Woods. In this Beta, you will start your own career and the better your golf game, the more money you can earn to improve upon those skills.
  • Swing Trainer-Breaks down your shot into components (full, pitch, chip, putt, etc.) and you will have the ability to unlock new shots as your career moves along.
  • Course Mastery-Each course contains its own characteristics and challenges your need to overcome to become a course legend. As you master each course, you will then unlock the ability to make changes to them.

The team at EA Sports has established multiple ways for user feedback during this process including reporting bugs in the program (remember, it is just a beta). Check back with Examiner.com for more updates on the program.
