If there weren't enough reasons to live in Australia, add this to the list. Microsoft has announced that Gears of War will be a package deal for the Aussies. Other games have been included in Xbox bundles, so why not one of the console's most popular series? After all, the titles combined have sold over 11 million units.

The bundle will include the Xbox 360 Pro console, wireless controller, 60 GB hard drive, ethernet cable and high definition AV cable and, of course, both games. While some of you might be angry that the deal is only going down under, expect it to spread to other regions as well. I speculate that will rest on whether the numbers show a favorable return for this release. The bundle will cost  $449 AU and will release on June 4th, 2009.
