It's been pretty serious around here lately, what with Nobel prizes and war ponderings, so today a little sha-la-la.
Bruce Springsteen played the last concert in Giants Stadium Friday night. Springsteen isn't known for his uplifting lyrics. "Rips the bones from your back," is hardly a lullaby. But when it comes to knowing yourself, reading your audience and striving for success, Springsteen is a veritable opera.
