Before his untimely death last week, Jackson was preparing for his final "This Is It" tour.

He was working with costume designers Michael Bush and Dennis Tompkins.

Together, they recreated all of Jackson's iconic looks for every song he was going to preform... plus some extras.

They sewed fiber-optic lights into his classic "thriller" jacket for a surprise light show that was supposed to be timed to music.

Jackson was also going to go back to his signature look with the white Chrystal glove and socks.

They were both made from material that would have been seen even by people sitting in the back.

One of the most spectacular parts was his new costume for the "Billie Jean" performance. The new "Billie Jean" suit held 7.5 lbs. of Swarovski crystals and 60 lights on it.
