So, Kenny G is collaborating with Weezer, just thought I would come right out with that one. Kenny G, the bane of many in the jazz community, is teaming up with the popular 'alternative' rock group Weezer for their upcoming album Raditude. The track featuring Mr. G is called I'm Your Daddy. The two got together a week ago to film Sessions, five tracks from the album that will help promote the album, due to be released Novemeber 3.

Rivers Cuomo, the lead singer of Weezer, lives just down the street from the infamous saxophonist, but they had never met before the taping. Kenny states that he has never heard any of the band's music, but was open to the collaboration. Raditude will also include contributions from Lil Wayne and Sarah Bareilles. When asked why Cuomo was teaming up with such a wide range of artists, he replied that they needed to find a way to keep things interesting. Well, I would have to say that this album will be fairly interesting. Will have to keep my ear out for when that single drops.
