President Obama chooses a church

Ever since President Obama has taken office, and even before, there has been a great deal of speculation as to his religion. Some said he was Christian; many said he wasn't. Others said he was an atheist - and the rumors went on.

Throughout his presidency - and his run thereof - President Obama made sure to be inclusive of all people in speeches - religious and non-religious, believers and non-believers. His approach fed the fire of speculation. And the fact that he hadn't chosen a church for so long added to the controversy.

He has now chosen a church to attend. The church, Evergreen Chapel, which is located at Camp David, is a non-denominational Christian church. Of course, the rumors will most likely still continue, as many people are all-consumed with his religious convictions.

There are those of us, however, who don't care so much what he believes or where he goes to church (or is he even goes at all) as long as his policy making is the result of a desire to uphold the Constitution rather than a desire to push his religious beliefs on the masses.
