Darwin Day is upon us. In less than two weeks, there will be celebrations held around the globe celebrating the birth of one of the greatest scientific minds ever to have lived, Charles Darwin.

There is a Web site administered by the Institute for Humanist Studies (IHS) called "Darwin Day Celebration." Their goal is to "[promote] public education about science and [encourage] the celebration of Science and Humanity throughout the global community.

The site has a great page that allows visitors to search for celebratory events happening near them. There are currently 352 events scheduled in 31 countries.

But there's more. Those who would like to register a scheduled event may do so on the site. You can also sign up to be a speaker at an event. The IHS will also help you promote your event if you are an organizer.

If you want to get in on the global-wide celebration, consider stopping by the Web site - Darwin Day Celebration.
