It was reported earlier today by TMZ.com that they have been in contact with Michael McDermott, John Travolta’s friend and lawyer, as well as family attorney Michael Ossi. According to their report, both lawyers are in the Bahamas with Travolta now.

They told TMZ that reports that indicate that Jett was not found for hours are “absolutely false.” They have said that Jett’s nanny, Jeff, supposedly went back and forth to his room (it didn’t say from where) several times and found him only a short time after the accident occurred.

They also said that there were two nanny’s with the Travolta family in the Bahamas and that “Jeff was by [Jett’s] side 24/7.” They also said that “[t]here was a baby monitor device by Jett's side and there was also a chimer in the bathroom when the door opened.”

It was also reported that there will be two pathologists on hand to perform the autopsy, including one who is US certified and will be flying into the Grand Bahama from Nassau.
