I have good news for fans of Emily Wick’s “The Fifty United States and Their Mottos.” My friends over at National Geographic Traveler clued me in that she now has a linoleum block print of the District. Wick carved this block -- which features Washington’s motto, “Justice for all” -- on Inauguration Day last week. Right now, you can order a print of the cutout, but the design hasn’t been uploaded yet to her T-shirt and other accoutrements shop.
