Google logo UFO unexplained phenomenaThe UFO in today's Google logo that is grabbing onto the second “o”  is not all that mysterious. And it is certainly more than a temporary PR tactic related to a cultural event, product announcement, or movie. It is just a reflection of the cosmic vision that has made Google founders multi-billionaires.

They can afford to draw attention to UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligent life, but not because they have a lot of money or influence. They are not like American politicians who wait for instructions from their handlers on what to say and do next, while hiding under their desks afraid to be asked about UFOs.

Like other billionaires, the Google founders succeed by having unbounded vision and the courage to realize it and share it. Paul Allen of Microsoft has put tens of millions of dollars into the SETI Institute’s efforts to communicate with extraterrestrial intelligence. Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic is building a spaceport near Roswell, New Mexico.

The late Laurence Rockefeller briefed President and Mrs. Clinton on the UFO issue. The Foundation of George Soros has allegedly distributed to its department heads a document (Sapiens Rising – by Neil Freer) about raising human society to cosmic citizenship so as to enjoy peaceful relations with extraterrestrial races. Billionaire Robert Bigelow of Las Vegas has given a major grant to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) to fund rapid response teams to investigate UFO related phenomena.

Google even created an application called “Star Droid” to enable your cell phone as an interactive map of the stars. These people aim high and think very big.

The late Dr. Maury Albertson, though not a billionaire, was also a great visionary and co-founder of the Peace Corps in his earlier years. But at the time of his passing in January of this year, he was founding president of the Institute for the Study of Galactic Civilizations which has the purpose of educating the public about Earth's galactic visitors, their culture, and their influence on humanity.

Many of the top Internet search topics in 2008 and 2009 have been related to UFOs. There have been releases of UFO files by the UK revealing that USAF pilot Milton Torres was ordered to shoot down a UFO,  and Russian Navy files about UFOs flying out of the water and zipping away. There was Stan Romanek’s “alien in the window video” and his encounters with extraterrestrial beings.

There was also the Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission ballot initiative in Denver, and the Vatican astronomer declaring that it’s alright to believe that we have extraterrestrial brothers and sisters. Add to that Apollo astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell’s revelations about the government cover-up of UFOs, Larry King’s frequent shows with ufo experts and whistleblowers, and more recently the comments by Miyuki Hatoyama, Japan’s new first lady, about her UFO trip to Venus.

Even the Auto Channel recently got into reporting on UFOs with a surprisingly good collection of related videos. Billy Cox of the Sarasota Herald Tribune found out the suggestion of UFO articles on the Auto Channel received a level of positive support that was unprecedented since it started in 1996.

The UFO in Google’s logo today merely reflects the fact that the human race is on a fast track to acknowledging the existence, and presence on Earth, of extraterrestrial intelligent beings. This will be the biggest paradigm shift in human history. It will require unrestricted freedom and flow of information globally.  Toward that end, Google has achieved far more than the over-hyped and under-enforced U.S. “Freedom of Information Act”.

When more open and public contact with extraterrestrial beings occurs, it will be companies like Google that will play the biggest roles. As communication with civilizations from other galaxies starts rolling, it will be Google and others with similar vision and innovation, at the center of the newly acknowledged multi-cultural universe.

For those who think we are not even close to knowing about our neighbors in outer space, the Galactic Gathering: Conference on Extraterrestrial Civilizations in Denver Sept. 25-27 will be a great place to learn more.

There might never be a single event in Washington, D.C. or other national capital that will prove we are not alone in the universe. Instead, it might be that through the Internet, people around the world will sit in the comfort of their homes on their own schedule and view web cams and holographic images in real time of life on distant planets and extraterrestrial crafts. In that way, this profound new reality can be absorbed according to the convenience and readiness of each person. That would allow them to shift their paradigm on the very personal level that it must happen anyway.

The reality is that searches for UFO-related topics on the Internet are among the most popular and joining the galactic family is our next big step. So the real mystery is "why do so many people think it is a mystery for Google to have a UFO in their logo?"
