Ancient UFO influence and modern UFO cover-up in Greece

News of a leaked UFO cover-up by Greek officials has added more fuel to the UFO disclosure fire. The breaking news of Canada releasing UFO files adds even more fuel. The influence of UFOs in Mediterranean cultures and elsewhere is both new and old. Ancient images of UFOs have appeared in art, caves, temples, and ritual sites for hundreds and thousands of years around the world.

Leonardo da Vinci’s famous “Vitruvian Man” might have even been indirectly influenced by ancient extraterrestrial intelligent beings. Leonardo based his drawing on the proportions of man described by the ancient Roman architect Marcus Vitruvius Pollio (c. 80 – 15 c. BC). Vitruvius, was a Roman writer, architect and engineer who would have also been fluent in Greek like most educated Romans of the time.

Leonardo probably had access to the knowledge of Vitruvius who also probably had knowledge of Greek architecture. But Vitruvius was known more as a “codifier of existing architectural practice”. A number of modern scholars have suggested that some of the “existing architectural practice” came from ancient India.

The basis for this discussion is the assumption that scholars of various disciplines were captured by the army of Alexander the Great, in what is now called India, and brought back to Macedonia. These scholars had advanced knowledge of architecture, astrology, astronomy, city planning, mathematics, music, healthcare, and other disciplines.

The ancient and comprehensive system of architecture in India is known as Vastu Shastra, (aka Vedic architecture or sthapatya Veda). One major source of this knowledge is derived from the writings of Brahmarishi Mamuni Mayan. These writings were inscribed 7,000-10,000 years ago on palm leaves that still exist today. Brahmarishi Mayan is credited for having directly or indirectly created the Mayan culture. The Mayans are believed to have had a close connection to extraterrestrial civilizations.

Brahmarishi Mayan taught the knowledge of space-craft, space science, earth science, oceanic science, ship building, sculpture, fine arts, dance and music, mathematics, herbal and soil science, town-planning, and more. His knowledge of ‘sacred geometry’ in architectural design was far beyond such simple proportions as the Golden Mean that was taught to Alexander the Great by the renowned teacher Aristotle. Such advanced and higher knowledge from the Vedic scholars must have appealed greatly to Alexander.

There are images of extraterrestrial beings and ‘UFOs’ carved or painted on Mayan temples and other structures within the Mayan civilization. One treatise of Brahmarishi Mayan is allegedly on the construction and powering of spacecraft. Contact with extraterrestrial civilizations would help explain how Brahmarishi Mayan might have gained such advanced knowledge. The American University of Mayonic Science and Technology in New Mexico is reviving this ancient tradition of knowledge.

The year 2009 is the International Year of Astronomy. The famous astronomer Galileo, born Feb. 15, 1564, will be honored throughout the world for his contribution as the “Father of Modern Astronomy”. Galileo continued the exploration of heliocentric astronomy studied by his predecessor Copernicus, a contemporary of Leonardo da Vinci, Michaelangelo, and Christopher Columbus. Both Copernicus and Galileo studied astrology, and not just astronomy for which they are most famous.

Encyclopaedia Britannica online states, "Leonardo …believed the workings of the human body to be an analogy for the workings of the universe." Vastu shastra, as taught by Brahmarishi Mayan, involves astrological calculations in the design of buildings to support the connection of human bodies with the cosmos.

Therefore, it is likely that the knowledge from Brahmarishi Mayan trickled down from India’s culture to Greek culture. It would have also been passed through the famous artists and scientists of the Renaissance and Western civilization. Now this ancient knowledge, possibly influenced by extraterrestrial civilizations, might continue to influence Greece and the rest of modern society today. But overcoming government cover-ups will be key to assessing the risks and benefits of that extraterrestrial influence.
