Something is quite rotten in the App Store today. It was very difficult to wade through the releases since several of the dates of the games are very, very wrong. Dozens of the games claimed to have a November 6th release date when they were in fact released months or even a year ago. It's quite possible that some games that were actually released on November 6th were given older dates, so apologies to any games that were missed due to this date mishap.

One can also hope that along with the date problem that the App Store also has a price problem. Several of these games are priced at $2.99 and higher, and it makes little sense for over half of them to have this high of a price.

A Game About Smashing Bombiez, iHooy! ($1.99) - Take on the role of Hooy Ventura has he smashes Bombiez to save the world. The game features simple controls, almost similar to the controls in Elf Bowling, if anyone remembers those games, and nice cartoon animation.

AntiDot: zone ($1.99) - A team of scientists was sent into space to learn how to stop a speeding asteroid from crashing into Earth. They learned that asteroid is inhabited by hostile aliens, who capture the ship and imprison it in a labyrinth deep within the asteroid. Players must help them escape the prison and make it back to Earth to warn everyone of the impending war.

Atomus Connectus (free) - This is a lite version of the chain reaction explosion game Atomus Master.

Barbarians, the Fall ($3.99) - This barbarian civilization game allows players to play how the want. They can stick to researching artifacts and bettering the civilization or become barbarians and conquer neighboring lands.

blastination lite (free) - Play 15 normal and 15 fast game modes of this shape collecting action game.

Calypso ($1.99) - Players have a limited time to try to correctly place all fo the sliding pieces on a complex shaped grid. And that is all the information that is given.

Circular Assault ($3.99) - Destroy enemy tanks by bouncing their massive bullets back at them. If the reflection is aimed well, an exploding tank could cause a chain reaction to destroy multiple other tanks.

Cops&Donuts ($1.99) - A certain cop loves donuts so much, he won't let chasing a criminal stop him from munching on a few along the way. Fortunately for him, donuts seem to be raining down from the sky, but unfortunately, a lot of hazardous objects are falling with them.

Crazy Hamster ($.99) - In theory, all hamsters are crazy, but this one has real issues. He can only see fruit and therefore none of the hazards that lie before him as he races to collect his fruit. Players need to help him stay alive by building bridges, putting out fires, and neutralizing any other trap or obstacle he comes across.

Deathride: Betrayal ($4.99) - In a post-apocalyptic world, it's up to the player to bring back the law to the lawless land. Make sure the car is well-armored and there is plenty of ammunition. It could be a short trip.

Eat Like Hell ($.99) - An evil king wants to marry a beautiful princess. This princess is not only running away from her pursuers, but she's also eating as much as she can to change her appearance and escape him forever.

ElementZ ($1.99) - It's another match-3 block elimination game.

Entropia (free) - Slide and rotate the shapes to arrange them into the designated pattern in the shortest amount of moves.

Fallen ($1.99) - Use the tilt controls to guide the direction and fall of a falling man as he plummets from the top of a skyscraper.

Falling Men (free) - Ever play one of those fire rescue games where players have to bounce survivors into an ambulance? This game has the exact same idea.

GEN-TO-KI ($.99) - Help Princess Momo  defeat the goblins of a volcano and restore life to the celestial world in this puzzle-solving platformer.

Green Harvest (free) - Tilt the iPhone to move the white ball to try to grab points from the green balls while avoiding the red balls.

Hexa Puzzle ($4.99) - Players are given a grid to fill with given pieces. It's an interesting twist on the typical jigsaw puzzle, but not sure if it's worth the $4.99 price.

Hyakki Yagyo ($.99) - This 3D shooter features Japanese art-styled graphics, which matches the game perfectly since it takes place in a shrine.

iCoccinelle ($.99) - This is another Lights Out styled game, but with colored ladybugs instead of lights.

Implode! ($1.99) - Strategically place explosives around buildings to safely demolish them to make way for new structures.

KMChess (free) - It's actually the peg/solitaire game that players all know and love.

Mammal Stew (free) - This is a collection of 5 mini-games: battleship, memory, slider puzzle, hidden treasure, and guess the number.

Neon Blast ($.99) - This side-scrolling arcade game has a Space Invaders feel just with bright neon colors of Geometry Wars.

Polyhedra Lite (free) - Sample a few of the levels and features of the physics-based game that requiers players to trap enemies using large shapes.

Jewel Catcher ($.99) - Catch jewels as they fall from the sky without being caught by the cops.

Rocky Spider($.99) - Take on the sport of indoor rock climbing with a little stick figure.

Santa's Workshop Lite (free) - This appears to be an introductory lite version to a future full version, but it could also just be a free game supported by advertising with the word "lite" in its title. The goal of the game is to help Santa pick up all the toys and deliver them to all the good girls and boys across the world.

Shateki ($2.99) - This is a carnival game where players shoot targets for prizes. The graphics are really bad, and there is nothing to the game other than taking one's time to shoot down targets, so the $2.99 price is a mystery.

Sherwood Forest Academy ($1.99) - The game isn't fully about how good a player is at firing an arrow. It'a also about how well the player can guide the arrow to the target with the tilt controls.

Shooting Range 3D ($2.99) - This shooting game has players fire at multiple moving targets. The background graphics are well done, but not fabulous enough to warrant such a high price for a target shooting game.

Snake Escape ($.99) - It's another Snake game.

Snow Scuffle ($.99) - Defend territory from invading tanks with a high-powered turret gun buried in the snow.

Stone Skipper ($.99) - Simulate skipping a rock in a river in multiple locations across the world.

Up Chuck! ($.99) - Help Chuck climb the corporate ladder by stacking as few associates as possible for Chuck to walk over and progress to the next level.

Whak-a-mime (free) - Now this is a whack-a-mole game everyone has wanted to play.

Whirl'd! ($.99) - This game has an interesting spin (pun intended) on the matching/block elimination games. Players have a disc they can spin with various multicolored Whirls on the rim. They must try to match the Whirl in the center with the Whirl dirrectly above it by turning the disc as the center Whirl launches. As the levels progress, the center Whirls launch more rapidly.

Word Hangup ($.99) - It's Hangman meets crossword puzzle.

3D Monster Blox - The Race Lite (free) - Sample a few introductory levels of the monster crushing racing game.
