San Francisco, CA (November 6, 2009) – Morning commutes have become a major drag for many people in the Bay Area ever since Energy 92.7 went off the air and Fernando and Greg disappeared. Well, there’s no need to be bored or disappointed anymore. Fernando and Greg will be back on the morning radio airwaves at Movin’ 99.7 (KMVQ) starting November 12th from 5am to 9:30am.

"First, Levi Johnston agrees to pose nude and now Fernando and Greg are on Movin' 99.7.  I'm not sure I could be any happier.  Can't wait to wake up the Bay...again!" said Fernando Ventura.

CBS RADIO is one of the largest major-market operators and the No. 1 online radio service in the United States. They operate 130 radio stations throughout the nation’s top 50 markets with stations covering news, sports, talk, rock, oldies, country, adult contemporary and urban formats. Fernando and Greg will also be heard online at online at www.movin997.com since CBS RADIO has embraced interactive programming through the use of streaming, HD Radio, podcasts and mobile messaging. The division maintains an exclusive agreement with both AOL Radio and Yahoo! Music Radio through which CBS RADIO powers AOL Radio and Yahoo! Music Radio and distributes their stations to its network of listeners.

Fernando and Greg got their start in radio on Energy 92.7 (KNGY) from 2005 until September 2009. Last year they received the Fall Honors award from northern California chapter of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association. In 2007, they were named to OUT Magazine’s Top 100 most influential people in gay culture.

CBS RADIO San Francisco is pleased to announce the addition of Fernando and Greg to Movin’ 99.7 (KMVQ). When speaking about the addition of the dynamic duo, Doug Harvill, CBS Radio San Francisco Sr. VP and Market Manager said “I’m going to hide under my desk and not answer the phone.” He must be expecting a lot of calls.
