Legendary film actor Tony Curtis, now 84 years old, will be appearing at the Cinema Arts Center in Huntington, NY on Friday November 6, 2009 to sign copies of his new book "The Making of 'Some Like It Hot' My Memories of Marilyn Monroe and The Making of The Movie" and to participate in a conversation about the movie before it is screened.

"Some Like It Hot", co-starring Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe and directed by Billy Wilder, is widely considered to be one of the greatest comedies of all time. Curtis was born in the Bronx as Bernie Schwartz and rose to stardom during the 1950s in such movies as Operation Petticoat, The Sweet Smell of Success, and Spartacus.

Two options are available: the book signing, conversation, and screening starting at 5 p.m. or the second book signing, conversation and screening starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $90 for the public or $75 for members.
