Bob's Farm:  Pick your own pumpkins where they grow!   Photo:Studio Raynaud

There is something so refreshingly simple about heading out to Half Moon Bay to pick a bright orange pumpkin for a Halloween decoration.  Spending some time at a farm like Bob's Pumpkin Farm out on Highway 1 makes you appreciate where your food comes from.  Bob's has many different varieties of pumpkins from the Sugar Pie variety (best for baking in the oven and making a pumpkin pie ) to some unusual variegated orange & white ones & deep red-orange multicolored decorative pumpkins.  There is even a large hay pyramid to climb up and with nearby pens of goats and chickens to gawk at!

And don't forget to pick up some fresh vegetables at Bob's fruit & vegetable stand which is open all year round!
