If you love everything about Michael Jackson, and loved This Is It, then this article is definitely not for you.

I'm not going to turn down free tickets (what sane person would), but I desperately wish the tickets had been for a different movie.

Don't get me wrong, I like some of Michael Jacksons music. I was a teenager in the 80's and a handful of his songs are sewn into my dancing soul. I have this fantastic memory of a friends child who loved to dance to Michael Jackson music, and also loved to fall asleep to his music. So cute!

I've also read about and watched him in the news during the last decade, and I cant separate the man from his music.

The way he talks, the unfortunate obsession with surgery, the interest in unusual things left an indelible distaste.

It's just one mans opinion. I dont expect or want to sway anyone to my way of thinking about this.

But despite an honest effort, I couldn't bring myself to write a glowing review about This Is It just because its the easy thing to do.

If you even kind of agree with me, avoid this movie.   You'll thank me later.
