Obama Inauguration & Martin Luther King Day Kids Events NYC Jan 17, 18, 19 2009

JUST ADDED: JCC event.
Save the Date!
Its way too cold and crowded to do DC with kids, but you want them to be a part of a historical moment. I'm hoping plenty of NYC establishments understand that and will step up to the plate.
Over the next week, I will keep updating this post with a listing of the kid friendly things to do related to Obama's Inauguration.
Here is a wonderful website listing online places for kids to learn about the inauguration and its context in history.
Ironically, Martin Luther King day falls on January 19th this year, the day before the big day in DC. Because of the synchronicity of these two historically related moments, we decided to include those events as well.
Here's what we know so far.
