Scranton native Brian Stann lost his bout at UFC 109 against Phil "Mr Wonderful' Davis via unanimous decision.

The former marine struggled throughout the bout with Davis' wrestling, and was never really able to get going with much offense of his own.

Davis, a blue chip collegiate wrestling prospect was impressive in his UFC debut, although lacked in finishing skills.

Although he had Stann pinned for much of the bout, his submissions and ground and pound left a lot to be desired.

At such a young age though he has plenty of time to develop his skills and become a force in the division.

Stann should be safe from the chopping block for the time being, coming off of two wins before this fight, but the same cant be said for much of the rest of the roster who fought on Saturday.
