More injury worries for the UFC

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has joined the long list of UFC stars out of action for the forseeable future after a staph infection spread to his bloodstream.

It isn' too serious, but the Brazilian will need a hospital stay and so has been forced to pull out of his scheduled fight against Cain Velasquez at UFC 108.

This comes on the same day that Dana White stated that Brock Lesnar won't be fighting again anytime soon due to a multitude of health problems. It was reported firstly that Lesnar had a case of Mono, which is painful and unpleasant, but not usually life threatening. Now it seems there are other problems however, although White stated that Lesnar doesnt want them to be made public at this stage.

With an ever growing list of main event fighters sidelined the UFC are struggling to put together headliners for their next few shows. The new year should mark a lot of the injurd fighters returning, but for the time being the cards are looking rather ragged, not to mention
