Like all really good fiction stories, they are based on someone’s version
of reality. So please indulge me for a few
minutes with this article.

I was diagnosed recently with stage 2-breast cancer. When the needle
biopsy results came back, the medical staff
came into tell me the outcome and shuffle me upstairs to a room to
await surgery in the morning.
I couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t the diagnosis I couldn’t believe (I am
sensitive to my own body) it was the medical staffs
approach and attitude with me that was shocking. They didn’t know
me, or anything about my life, and they were just
rushing into take it over. I don’t think so! A scream from the depths
of my soul came out of my mouth for them to
“back off”. If I had been someone who lived a life full of processed
foods, lots of preservatives, smoked cigarettes,
drank lots of alcohol, high doses of sugars, yeasts and fats, I could
have understood their unfriendly take over. That’s
not who I am, and I deeply resented someone who does not know
me to not gather that much information about my life.

After finding my way home, alone that day I looked around my
house and answered a few phone calls from my students.
I had to have time to decide how I was going to approach this and
make a plan for myself to be healed. I suddenly realized
all the years and experience I had helped others go through this was
now going to benefit me personally. I believe we
always have what we need to get though anything that comes our
way. I also believe everything has a reason for
manifesting into our lives. I started going to work on
my plan to fight breast cancer.

In every disease there are 3 bodies that the disease will manifest
in. It’s the physical body, the mental body or your
thoughts, and the spiritual body or beliefs. I had the physical diagnosis
of breast cancer long after I had the other two
bodies get off center (not in balance) in my life and relationships.
The cure for cancer is prevention and is much more than
eating the right foods for your blood type, and taking anti-oxidants
that studies show aids in the elimination of cancer
cells that we all have in our bodies. Real prevention is about keeping
an ‘eagle eye’ on our thoughts and beliefs. A daily
diet of positive thoughts, and healthy beliefs may be more effective
than vitamin c, Flax oil, Vitamin D, anti-oxidants, and
good sleep.

I hadn’t slept well for over a year and a half running a holistic college
all alone after my husband re-niggled on his promise to
help me get it going. I kept doing it everyday because I loved the
students and holistic medicine.   I couldn’t remember the
last time I felt truly loved in a personal relationship.   I had dreams
in my heart I had not had given up on. So I started there
in the spiritual body.

What would you do if it were you just diagnosed with breast cancer?
Is chemotherapy an option for you? Would you have change your diet
and start exercising? Would you move closer to your
family or hometown to find comfort and support while you healed?
Would you get on the Internet and do a search for “Cure
for breast cancer”? Which is a very bad Idea by the way… tons of
scams out there these days keeping the FDA busy looking
into them and writing desist letters.

Being a holistic doctor does not make even me immune to cancer,
as I just found out. I have to believe it does give me an
insight into the healing process, and what to avoid.   An it certainly
means there are things you can no longer sweep under
the rug or put on a shelf to deal with later. I personally do not want
to transition without having healed all things possible,
including relationships and beliefs.

I eat a pretty healthy organic, for my blood type diet, and do colonics
regularly. All these things I believe have attributed to it in
being slow growing, and early detected. It is a wakeup call for certain,
to mend relationships with my children, parents, men,
food and God.

So to my prayer alter I go. Please pray with me too, God is not done with me yet!
