What's interesting is that at the end of the video they fall back to the same old same old that the diet that works best is the one someone can stick to.

The diet that works best is the diet that works best. If you can't stick to it that is your problem. It's beside the point.
It's tougher to quit smoking. If you smoke less it's better but not good enough.
