Yes Virginia, there is a fraudster in all of us, even you

Today Commodity Futures Trading Commission acting director of enforcement Steve Obie came right out and said what everyone is thinking while commenting on a recent bust.:

This CFTC litigation shows that even those with seemingly upstanding reputations and trustworthy positions are potential fraudsters. I continue to caution investors to vigorously and continuously question anyone to whom they entrust their hard-earned cash, even those who seem above and beyond reproach.

Indeed, the few left who think they still have some integrity left are almost certainly wrong

Examples sure to grace headliners in the near future

  • Pope Implicated in Ponzi Scheme, Extolls Forgiveness

  • Obama Loses Nation's Shirt in Asset Backed Loan Securitized by White House, Congress

  • Gambling and Option Debt Behind Souter "Retirement"

And remember, you heard it hear first!
