Find out more about Alisa:

Alisa knows what its like to find love in unexpected places. Just when she'd given up on the dating scene in Tokyo, she found the love of her life- a Kurdish man from Turkey who spoke beautiful Japanese, but no English. Back in California and preparing for her Big Fat Kurdish Wedding, Alisa looks forward to sharing practical advice and tips for making a relationship work across a cultural divide- big or small. Since every couple is different, and every intercultural couple is really different, she'd love to hear your questions, your stories, and the issues you really care about.
