If you are a fan of the widely popular Zac Brown Band, and you like the idea of a Caribbean cruise, then you will want to read this article. On September 2, 2010, Zac Brown and Sixthman will embark on a Sailing Southern Ground cruise. I can tell you that the Zac Brown Band performances I saw on the Cayamo Cruise last year were outstanding! Zac and his band not only shined at their scheduled performances, but they also held fantastic, impromptu shows and joined in jam sessions with many other artists.
Some of my favorite things about a music cruise are the non-stop music, variety of concert choices and the highly charged musical atmosphere. It's also a cool experience to interact with some of your favorite musicians. The Sailing Southern Ground Cruise will be a fun and exciting event that puts the artists in close touch with their fans. There will many opportunities to hang out with other music fans and chances to get up-close and personal with the musicians. If you like music and Caribbean Cruises, this could be the trip of a lifetime! Here are some more details from a recent Sixthman press release:
On September 2, 2010, Zac Brown Band and Sixthman will embark on the Sailing Southern Ground cruise, traveling from Tampa, Fla., to Grand Cayman on the Carnival Inspiration, returning to Tampa on September 6, 2010. The cruise takes place over Labor Day weekend, the perfect time for fans to congregate, take a break from work and school, and relish the end of summer.
Fans will enjoy headlining performances by CMA-nominated Zac Brown Band and over a dozen bands to be announced later, as well as an on board casino, drinks, food, and other exciting events.
Zac Brown Band are no strangers to cruising - they first sailed on The Rock Boat in 2004 after winning a battle of the bands in Birmingham, Al., which was judged by Sixthman owner Andy Levine. The band has since sailed on four Rock Boats, two Simple Man cruises, and Cayamo 2009, building a stronger and more loyal following with each appearance.
"We're excited to have another chance to spend four days at sea hanging out with our fans," said Zac Brown. "The Sixthman cruises are a great opportunity for us to give fans a taste of the full Zac Brown Band experience."
Andy Levine is thrilled to announce Sailing Southern Ground: "Zac has honed his craft, discipline, and connection with his fans, and we are harvesting a relationship from a seed that was planted five years ago. Sixthman is honored to bring a Zac Brown Band experience to life."
Sailing Southern Ground cabins are on sale now. Prices start at $699, and you can reserve your spot by visiting www.sailingsouthernground.com
