Does $209 per person sound good for a 4 day cruise, $299 for a 5 day cruise or even $399 for a 7 day cruise? Royal Caribbean is showing rates like these (on many selected dates.) Most of the other cruise lines are also offering great deals right now!
Earlier this week, I suggested a Caribbean cruise as an option for an extended family vacation. A cruise is a very versatile trip and offers a multitude of food and entertainment choices. The active family members can go to the gym, swim, play basketball, or use the running track when the ship is at sea. The cruise ports-of call offer endless choices of activities (sailing, snorkeling, jeep trips, hikes, golf, historical tours, zip-lining etc.) If you want to stay on the ship, there are programs during the day such as food exhibitions, wine tastings and Trivia games. Most ships create a full agenda of on-board activities when you're at sea. Bottom line...there's something fun to do for everybody.. from the kids to the grandparents. Once you board the ship, all the planning pressure is off!
The cruise specials and deals available now are some of the best I've ever seen. Check out Expedia's site for some amazing deals on 4, 5 and 7 night cruises. If you have a flexible schedule and can travel during the holiday season, there are some major discounts this year. Check the Cruise Critic or Cruise 411 sites for more details.
