It's Adam Lambert vs. Kris Allen once again in the People's Choice Awards - who will win this time?

It's that time again, folks, for the 2010 People's Choice Awards. And in the Music Category, under "Favorite Breakout Artist," there are two American Idol alumni pitted against each other once again--Adam Lambert and Kris Allen (runner-up vs. the winner). Yes, we all know they're good friends, and that's lovely--but it doesn't change the fact that they've been placed in competition with each other for a second time. And with the upset from so many Glamberts out there that Adam didn't take the American Idol crown, it will be interesting to see if Adam wins over Kris this time for the People's Choice.

Even more interesting, the People's Choice Fan Poll of the Day today asks, "If you could only pick one, which male American Idol do you think will become epic?"  Choices are David Cook, Chris Daughtry, Adam Lambert, and Clay Aiken. At the time of this writing, Daughtry has 38% of the vote, and Adam coming in 3rd with 26%.

But even Adam has some serious competition for the People's Choice--and I don't mean Kris. Other nominees include Lady Gaga and Susan Boyle. Personally I think it's a tough choice--between Adam, Gaga and the incredibly talented Ms. Boyle. Lady Gaga has a distinct advantage that she's already released albums and has had radio airplay, which may make her more popular overall.

All three singers have completely different styles, but they all stand out by bringing a unique talent to the music world.

I'm not familiar with several of the other nominees: Asher Roth, Kid Cudi, 3OH!3 and Cobra Starship to name a few.

So here's your chance to make your voice heard as to who your favorite breakout artist is--as well as many other categories including favorite action star, favorite movie, favorite TV show, etc.

I've cast my vote already--and you can nominate up to five of your favorites--but only one singer has struck a chord with me as my personal favorite. Here's hoping he wins this time.
