Well, Tuesday night is the big night. President Obama is going on National Television (except for Fox News, probably) and announce his Big Decision on Afghanistan.

And what will it be?  The Bush Doctrine.  That's right. 97 days of deliberations and Obama is going to send nearly all the 40,000 troops requested, 97 days late.

The Bush Administration ramped up at the rate of one brigade a month. The Obama Administration is going to ramp up at the rate of one brigade a quarter. Obama took 97 days to make a decision Bush would have made in two days. Maybe three. The Surge is on ladies and gentlemen. And in a way only Democrats can do. Half assed.

Here's a reality to warm your heart: March to November are prime Taliban months.  There will be more troops there. Obama is going to almost double the numbers in Afghanistan by 2011. That means more deaths than ever. In an election year.  I say, Obama loses 10 points in 2010 just on Afghanistan.
