Ameer Rasheed is a lifelong Cincinnati native, who has always displayed a love for sports and sports writing. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilmington College, where he lettered in four varsity sports, Rasheed embarked on a writing career - first with the Wilmington News Journal and then with the Middletown Journal.

Following his stint in the newspaper industry, Rasheed moved on to serve as the Sports Information Director at Thomas More College for the four years. He spent a stint in Division I, before moving to Webster University in St. Louis, and then coming back home.

Rasheed is simply a fan of Cincinnati athletics, from the Reds to the Bengals, Bearcats, Musketeers, Cyclones and Kings. he went to Hughes High School and on the one day of the year, he roots for UC over XU. Contact Jayson.
