Cheap concert tix, food and drink specials, outdoor patio and free parking

Looking for tuneage in a room more intimate than the UIC Pavillion, with a place to refuel with more than $5 hot dogs and overpriced beer? Look to Durty Nellie’s in Palatine.

Yes, it’s the suburbs but you don’t have to drive - METRA Union Pacific District Northwest Line drops you off across the street from the 15,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art entertainment complex so you can enjoy some more of the low-priced Daily Drink Specials such as:

Monday
$10 Bucket of 5 Bud/Budlight 12 oz Bottles
$9.50 Great Lakes Burning River Pitchers
$9.50 Goose Island Honkers Ale Pitchers

Tuesday
$2 Bud/Bud Light Pints

Wednesday
$2.50 Budweiser / Bud Light bottles

Thursday
$2.50 Bud/Bud Light 22 oz Draughts

Friday
$2 Bud Select

If you do drive, Durty Nellie's has tons of free parking in a four story parking garage right behind the venue.

Arrive before the band(s) and take advantage of Daily Food Specials like a $5.95 soup and sandwich combo weekdays and burger specials, served with toppings and potato salad throughout July. Try an All American Grilled Cheeseburger (two grilled cheese sandwiches with a 10oz patty in between) for $10 or a Heartland Burger featuring Wisconsin cheddar and bacon for $9. The pub portion of the complex serves appetizers, salads, entrees like pot roast, baked mac ‘n’ cheese and where else can you sup on Salmon Provencal right before a Johnny Winter concert? On a warm summer night, snag a table on the outdoor patio.

Nellie's has hosted a variety of acts like the aforementioned legendary blues guitarist, Johnny Winter, to Poi Dog Pondering, Eve 6, Sponge, The Jonas Brothers, Filter, Gwar, Marshall Tucker Band and more. When the room sells out, capacity is 750 - 800, so you can see and hear the artists with clarity. Take a look at the ticket  prices and you may be heading to Palatine soon.
