McCormick & Schmick's offers its 11th annual Veterans Appreciation Event, Sunday November 8.

Veterans choose a complimentary lunch or dinner entrée from a special menu. Selections include Cashew-Crusted Tilapia, Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Seafood Fettuccini Alfredo and Cedar-Planked Salmon, among others.

Available at locations around the country, both Chicago locations as well as Oak Brook, Rosemont, Schaumburg and Skokie, IL.

Fine print: The McCormick & Schmick’s Veterans Appreciation Event is offered to veterans defined by the Veterans Administration, Title 38 US Code 101, which is “a person who served in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable.” Please present proper identification to your server when you are seated. Proper ID includes VA card, VFW card, American Legion card, discharge papers, DD214 or other Veterans ID . Please note that in an effort to accommodate as many Veterans as possible, restaurants will not be able to seat parties larger than 6.


On Veteran's Day, 11/11, Uno invites all members of the military, both veterans and active duty, to come in for a free entrée or individual pizza (with an entrée or pizza purchase of equal or greater value).

There's no coupon necessary, just show up in uniform, or with a picture of you in uniform, or with a military or veteran's ID. The promotion is available nationwide, including Pizzeria Uno and Due in downtown Chicago as well as Gurnee and Schaumburg. For addresses and phone numbers - click here.
