Since Halloween is on a Saturday, the kids can trick or treat in the afternoon and you can stash the candy away. Tell them it'll be dessert after eating a nice meal at inovasi in Lake Bluff, IL. Just don't mention that it's healthy, organic food.

On Saturday, October 31, 2009, children 12-years-old and under dining at the restaurant between 5 - 7 pm, dine for free!

It's not the de riguer, chicken fingers and mac 'n' cheese, either.
Dishes on the kids menu include Grilled Tallgrass Free Range Hot Dog with homemade fries, Crispy Organic Chicken Breast with homemade barbeque sauce, Great Lakes Walleye Pike with mashed potatoes and Grilled Free Range Steak with mashed potatoes.

In the spirit of the holiday, staff members at inovasi will be dressed in costume and you, your friends and/or the kids can do the same.

Chef John des Rosiers is the former executive chef of Bank Lane Bistro and his new digs, restaurant inovasi in Lake Bluff, IL., specializes in farm fresh, well-executed cuisine.
