VERNONIA — Early results indicate that Vernonia voters have approved a $13 million school bond for construction of a new school complex.
Time-stamped at 8:18 p.m., the results from Columbia County’s elections department say that 60 percent of the 1,3353 votes cast are in favor of the school bond. Five hundred thirty six people voted against the bond.
