1930's Ice Fishing...brrr 

 

With spring around the corner and ice fishing in full effect, it hits you...the fishing license! Good news, commencing April 1, 2009, all annual licenses are valid April 1st through March 31st of the next year. The best part is that your expiring licenses are now good through March 31st of this year, giving you some leeway.

 Insider Ice Fishing Tip:

 While Antero reservoir is now slowed down Georgetown Lake is the place to be. The rainbow trout fishing has been good in early January. As of Jan 10, 2009 the ice is 12" thick. This 54 acre paradise is on I-70 north of Georgetown. This might be a mild winter so if you were looking for some ice fishing, this might be the time.
