Here is a pretty cool holiday happening that I came across. It's a chance to enjoy time with your family during the holiday season. Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 3 pm - 7 pm at the Black Forest Reserve. The Black Forest Reserve can be found at Meridian Road, 10 minutes north of Woodmen Road.

The Black Forest Reserve along with Lone Pine Properties is throwing a Holiday Party and everyone is invited! I found this tidbit to be a nice little secret to share due to the great events geared toward the kids. There will be pictures with Santa for the kids, a bonfire by the lake offering delicious Holiday Treats including: hot dogs, S'mores, hot chocolate and coffee.

The Falcon Firetruck will be hosting a giveaway for the kids. You can also take the kids for a pseudo-sleigh ride by taking them on the horse and buggy rides by the lake. Kids can also enjoy hayrides around the reserve with stops for cookies and treats.

This appeals to me as the perfect holiday setting for a family looking to enjoy the seasons, I am sure that you will agree. If you find other holiday happenings around town drop me an email and let me know.
