Staying warm outside during this winter season

It's cold outside, the question "How do I keep warm outside when it's so chilly?", needs to be answered. Whether you are participating in some winter sports, shopping, making holiday visits, or running from the house into the car, you want to stay warm. I've got a couple of tips for you that should help get some of the sting off this season.

Layer your clothing. Don't be afraid to wear undershirts and tanks, they really do help. Throw on a sweater and a jacket to tie all together. I like to wear a thicker pair of socks and sometimes even double them, especially when I am skiing.

Hand warmers. Listen I want to thank the inventor of the hand warmer, kudos to you! Stick them in your pockets and leave them there. It's great for kids, keeping their small fingers toasty for an average of 8 to 10 hours. You can find these at most grocery stores really inexpensive. Your hands will thank you.

Winter essentials. Hats and gloves are a must especially for the little ones. The hats that come with ear warmers are the best for children. Today's technology provides a wide variety of insulated gloves that will do the trick for any pair of hands.

Warm up the car for 5 minutes. It really makes the difference. Heating your vehicle to a much pleasureable temperature. The windows also scrape easier.

Stay hydrated. Fluids will keep the body working at generating heat. Try to keep sweating to a minimum so you don't overheat.

If you have any tips or comments please email me here. I'll be more than happy to answer any questions. "Stay Warm", and be safe this holiday season!
