Michelle Obama and Rihanna share "Women Of The Year"

Rihanna named one of Glamour's 2009 Women of the Year in the magazine's December issue.
Michelle Obama has some pretty high profile company to share her Glamour "Women Of The Year " award, the singer known as Rihanna who recently dated Chris Brown has been selected as an award recipient because of her stand against domestic violence.
Michelle Obama received an award of special recognition for bringing the importance of mentoring to the forefront.
Some of the other recipients were Stella McCartney, Serena Williams, Journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee, Maya Angelou, pediatrician Jane Aronson, Marissa Mayer, and Maria Shriver.
