Veterans' Day is November 11 and LEGOLAND(R) California is honoring the occasion by installing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial built entirely out of LEGO(R) bricks in Miniland Washington, D.C.
Michelle Obama will attend Veterans Day breakfast at White House on Wednesday, the previously scheduled visit to the Department of Labor has been postponed. On Tuesday the First Lady and Barack Obama will travel to Fort Hood for a memorial service.
Also on Wednesday afternoon, the First Lady will attend ServiceNation’s Mission Serve Veterans Day Event” at George Washington University, where she will be joined by Dr. Jill Biden, continuing their partnership amplifying the importance of serving military families.
Veterans Day is November 11, 2009.
