Walmart confirms 2009 Black Friday sale items (see list)

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is reporting a 3.2% increase in profit for the third quarter 2009

Specific items in a leaked Walmart Black Friday sales insert have been confirmed by Walmart. Items include high-def TVs, laptops, Blu-ray players, DVDs, and toys. Walmart has not confirmed every item in the advertisement, but most for its Black Friday, November 27, 2009 sale.

Walmart will also match the price of any printed advertisement.

Items on sale now at Walmart include:
26-inch Vizio 720p LCD HDTV for $248 (was $347)
EZ Bake Oven for $16 (was $28)
Guitar Hero, Band Hero and DJ Hero video games packages include a $40 Walmart gift card

Walmart Black Friday confirmed items in electronics include:
eMachine laptop with a 15.6-inch LCD display, 2GB memory and 160GB hard drive for $198
A Hewlett-Packard laptop with a 15.6-inch display, 3GB memory and 250GB hard drive for $298
A Philips 4GB MP3/video player for $29
Xbox 360 console with three games for $199
8GB iPod Touch for $195 with a $50 iTunes gift card
$4 home appliances including a slow cooker and mini-mixer
$2 DVDs
Select toys priced between $5 and $9

Sanyo 50-inch plasma 720p HDTV for $598
Magnavox Blu-ray player for $78
A Tom Tom GPS for $59
Children's clothing for as low as $3
Reversible fleece jacket for kids and adults for $7
Barbie Power Wheels Ride-On or toy Jeep $88
Walmart Black Friday early bird specials include:
32-inch Emerson LCD 720p HDTV for $248
42-inch Emerson Plasma 720p HDTV for $448
