Promptly at 4:30 ET my phone rang and in a few minutes I was talking to Bob Greene, well known as Oprah's personal trainer and as a co-author with Oprah of Make the Connection.
Immediately we connected as passionate fitness professionals and Bob shared his message of reaching out to every body who wants to feel better and enjoy a healthier life. When he was approached by EA SPORTS Active to be the virtual Avatar Personal Trainer in the game, he was non-committal. After the presentation and experience with the game, Bob embraced virtual fitness and all its possibilities.
It appears he feels EA SPORTS Active Personal Trainer and now More Workouts can really make a difference in those disaffected from exercising. Perhaps this is a way to inspire people to move once again, get active, feel alive and help remove emotional and physical barriers towards exercise. He's excited that his nutrition book and journal is also included in the game as good nutrition is as important as exercise.
Bob is friendly and sincere and as the involved father of a six-month old, happy that he's found a great way to keep in shape without having to leave home. Also, the new activities on More Workouts include water sports which he is particularly partial to as he spends a lot of time in Hawaii.

We had a good laugh when Bob said that he hadn't received the finished product, though of course he has played it numerous times, and that he has to wait til Tuesday like the rest of us. I replied that I had just seen a video on YouTube and read a review about the game earlier today, so obviously somebody else rated a sneak peak . Oh well, looks like we'll all be awaiting November 17th, Tuesday, next week, yeah.
