And more respect for law - as teens become adults, a hypocrisy they encounter early on is the message that marijuana is harmful, leads to stronger drugs, fries the brain. Then almost every teen encounters cannabis and discovers those messages are not true, and if those laws are irrelevant and being broken all the time, why have respect for any other laws? They learn that the messages from the anti-drug world about are not true, and wonder about the message concerning other drugs that really are harmful. At a party or somewhere in life they encounter marijuana and realize it is a pretty innocuous substance, very stress relieving, without incapacitating a person - so teens begin to wonder about the truth in the message about stronger drugs

Then begin kids to question everything else they hear. If marijuana isn’t bad, then maybe other laws written by older people don’t really apply anymore. Or if marijuana isn’t really bad, and the same people also say drugs like heroin and cocaine are addictive, then maybe those much stronger lethal drugs aren’t really killer drugs either.
When you lie to a whole generation of people about marijuana, you breed a generation of people who have no respect for law. I'm saying make marijuana a legal drug purchased over the counter - maybe in a liquor store - and it would end this continuous lie that one generation is passing onto the next generation. We've created a population of people with no respect for law, because they see that marijuana laws are idiotic.
So I say illegal marijuana helped create the lawless population we have now, people who commit crimes that make no sense, crimes we've never seen before, like setting homeless people on fire, or home invasions to finance international drug deals. We've created a population of people who don’t trust any laws, break all the laws, and in some ways because they first lose respect for the law and “the man” when they found out the marijuana laws are a lie.
It’s a thought.

Meanwhile pictured here is my favorite medical marijuana outlet. It has comfy couches where you can set a spell and have a smoke before getting back out on the sidewalk strolling home. If you live in East Hollywood that is. I’m really fascinated by the medical research and other resources at these websites.
