Many members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community criticize mainstream gay publications for what they consider a lack of content that promotes the true diversity present in the LGBT community. Some of these critics decided to launch their own visibility projects to ensure that all segments of the LGBT community receive the recognition they deserve.

Podcasting has become one of the most popular online visibility projects in the LGBT community. A quick Google search will result in hundreds of podcasts produced for the LGBT community. Here's a list of podcasts Twitter users believe have earned space on everyone's PDA:

The Puff and Sip Show features a Black lesbian couple who entertains and engages their listeners with discussions on every subject they can possibly fit into a single podcast series.

Girl Meets Girl is a podcast hosted by Hawaiian lesbian couple Siena and Toast. The couple regularly addresses issues like nature, pets, spirituality and music.

A Shanty No Lemon is a podcast that regularly discusses life, love, sex, technology, computers, politics and pop culture - from both a straight and gay perspective.

The Savage Love Podcast features sex advice from controversial columnist Dan Savage. Listeners learn about both the love life and sex life of gay men and straight men. Occassionally, the show will feature discussions on women's sexuality.
