The Angelika is one theater that offers a student discount.

ANGELIKA FILM CENTER - DALLAS

Every Tuesday, the Angelika Film Center at Mockingbird Station hosts STUDENT TUESDAY, a weekly event offering a reduced ticket price of $8.00 and a FREE 85oz. POPCORN (with unlimited refills). Students can enjoy this year's highly-anticipated art and foreign films at the Angelika.

A valid student ID is required at the time of purchase. STUDENT TUESDAY is available all day (Tuesdays only).

THE MAGNOLIA - DALLAS

The Magnolia, located at 3699 McKinney Ave, offers a regular discount for student moviegoers. Students with valid identification can purchase tickets for $7, saving three bucks over the standard ticket price. If you're so inclined, and of drinking age, The Magnolia features a full bar and you can carry your drinks into the theater. Get more information about The Magnolia by visiting its Web site.

THE INWOOD - DALLAS

The Inwood is owned by Landmark Theaters, the same folks who own The Magnolia. The Inwood, located at 5458 West Lovers Lane, offers the same $7 ticket price for students. There is a bar connected to the theater and it makes a great place to meetup with friends before seeing a film. The Inwood features an innovative screening lounge. It also features midnight showings of old-school classic films on weekends. Check their Web site for additional information.
