Carl Fredericksen is a 78-year-old balloon salesman who finally fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America.

But, he soon discovers his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip -- an overly optimistic 8-year-old Explorer scout named Russel.

This odd-couple lifts into theaters on Friday, May 29. The production was written and directed by Pete Docter and features voice work by Ed Asner, Paul Eiding, Christopher Plummer and John Razenberger.

Early reviews of "UP" have been overwhelmingly positive and box office success is imminent. Hey, it's Pixar! (plus Disney.)

Check showtimes, or watch the trailer and some clips from the film.
