Seven (7) Sacred Pools - Ohe'o Pools

Taking the journey to Hana?  Drive a little further, and you'll see the beautiful Seven (7) Sacred Pools!

After 617 narrow turns and 56 one-lane bridges and three hours of driving, you'll get to the town of Hana.  But just a little further, and you'll be treated to the 95-foot Wailua Falls at Mile Marker #45 and then the incredible 7 Sacred Pools.

Seven (7) Sacred Pools - Ohe'o Pools -- is located in Haleakala National Park.  The park entry fee is $10 per vehicle and if you are hiking the cost is just $5 per person.

The fee includes camping privileges for three (3) days.  The Kipahulu Visitor Center will be on your left about 10 miles past the town of Hana, is open from 9am to 5pm each day, and you can get additional information by calling (808) 248-7375.  10-Day Weather Forecast for Hana - bit.ly/11dMlD

Seven Sacred Pools consists of a series of fresh water cascading pools from rain further up the Haleakala volcano, and are calm and relaxing during the dry summer months.  But during Maui's rainy season from December to April, Seven (7) Sacred Pools can have swift, rushing water with multiple waterfalls and more than seven pools!  Be careful at the pool closest to the ocean, as swimming is not encouraged so close to the strong currents!
